We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse operations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing various goods. You will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics and production teams by ensuring materials are readily available and properly managed. A strong focus on safety, the ability to work in a physically demanding role, and attention to detail are essential. You should be comfortable operating basic warehouse equipment and following all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dedicated team and contribute to the efficient flow of goods in our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
