About
We are seeking a reliable Material Handler to join our warehouse operations in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This includes receiving, storing, and distributing various goods. You will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics and production teams by ensuring materials are readily available and properly managed. A strong focus on safety, the ability to work in a physically demanding role, and attention to detail are essential. You should be comfortable operating basic warehouse equipment and following all safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store incoming materials.
- Transport materials within the warehouse using hand trucks, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Pick and stage materials for production or shipment.
- Assist with inventory counts and organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Report any damaged materials or equipment malfunctions.
- This role involves frequent lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other basic warehouse equipment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks requiring standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic.
- Team-oriented and able to communicate effectively.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and PPE.
