Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping Clerk for our Detroit, Michigan facility. This is a crucial role within our **logistics** department, responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of all outgoing shipments. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, and possess a strong commitment to **Safety**. You will be the last point of contact before products leave our facility, ensuring everything is in order. Key responsibilities include:

Processing and verifying all outgoing shipments against order documentation.
Preparing shipping labels and necessary documentation (bills of lading, etc.).
Packaging products securely and appropriately for transit, ensuring they meet carrier requirements.
Coordinating with carriers for pickup and delivery schedules.
Maintaining accurate shipping records and tracking information.
Ensuring the staging area is organized and shipments are ready for dispatch.
Adhering strictly to all **Safety** regulations and wearing all mandated **PPE**.
Assisting with inventory tasks as needed, such as verifying outbound quantities.
Communicating effectively with warehouse staff and management regarding shipping status.

While this role may involve some **Lifting** (up to 30 lbs), the primary focus is on accuracy, organization, and process management within the **logistics** flow.
