Summary: At Meta, we are looking for a Data Science Analytics Lead to help us enhance experiences for billions of users and millions of businesses worldwide. In this key role, you will leverage your leadership, project management, analytical, and product intuition skills on one of the largest datasets globally. Your primary goal will be to create significant impact through quality, efficiency, and rapid execution by collaborating with diverse teams, including Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Finance. Utilize data to gain insights into product and business ecosystems, discover new opportunities, identify challenges, and steer product development to create value for users and businesses. You will guide product teams using data-driven insights, formulate hypotheses, and apply sophisticated analytical methods for validation. Additionally, you’ll share compelling stories backed by data, influence key decision-makers with clear insights, and establish your credibility as a trusted strategic partner. As a leader, you will inspire, manage, and develop an exceptional team of data scientists and analytics professionals, joining an elite community focused on continuous skill enhancement and career growth. Key Responsibilities: Lead analytics projects from inception to completion in collaboration with cross-functional teams to shape product strategies and investment decisions. Inspire and grow a team of data scientists and managers, ensuring alignment with long-term vision and objectives. Impact the design and roadmap strategy by utilizing team insights to define and prioritize long-term goals. Develop insights into complex systems, industry challenges, and overarching trends to identify risks and opportunities. Work with large, intricate datasets to tackle challenging problems using various analytical and statistical techniques. Enhance analytics capabilities across the organization, offering opportunities for your team and collaborative partners to maximize impact. Define key metrics to measure success and drive actionable insights for performance improvements. Collaborate with various teams to achieve bold long-term objectives, track performance against growth goals, and foster a culture of experimentation. Shape the strategic direction of growth initiatives by investing in data foundations and analytical methods to understand growth drivers more thoroughly. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., statistics, operations research, econometrics, computer science, engineering) or equivalent experience. At least 7 years of experience in applied quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning, including 2+ years managing analytics teams. 5+ years in a leadership role, with 2+ years of experience managing people from various levels. Proven success in leading high-impact analytics teams. Excellent communication skills for conveying both technical details and high-level strategic insights. Demonstrated ability to drive product roadmaps and execution. Experience in collaborating with Engineering, Design, Product Management, and Data Engineering teams. Preferred Qualifications: Experience leading analytics teams across multiple projects or programs in different regions or business units. A minimum of 2 years of experience with consumer-facing products. 10+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, statistical modeling, or machine learning within the experimentation domain. Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field. Public Compensation: $210,000/year to $281,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits.
