About the RoleAs a Residential Support Worker in our Poole location, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team that tailors care packages to meet the unique needs of each child and young adult. Your role will involve:
- Providing high levels of support and guidance to ensure the safety and well-being of our young people.
- Building positive and trusting relationships to foster a sense of belonging.
- Encouraging the development of individual interests and skills.
- Working flexible shifts, including sleep-ins, on a rotating schedule.
We seek individuals who are not only qualified but also share our passion for supporting young people. Here’s what you need to bring:
- Experience working with children and young people, with an understanding of the challenges they face.
- Flexibility to work 7 x 24-hour shifts, including sleep-ins.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of our young people.
- Strong communication and listening skills.
- A full UK driving license and access to a car for travel.
- A willingness to learn and grow, with a desire to pursue further qualifications (Level 4 diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent).
- Experience with Emotional Behavioral Disorder or Youth Work is a plus!
This is a full-time, permanent position with a shift pattern on rotation. You will be part of a supportive team that values your individuality and professional growth.

- A competitive salary starting at £24,604.58 (unqualified) or £27,107.08 (qualified), with potential earnings up to £32,348.58 or £34,851.08 respectively, including sleep-in shifts.
- A sleep-in allowance of £64 per night .
- Up to 6 weeks of holiday per year.
