As a Machinist at DPC, you will play a vital role in our operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Setting up and operating computer numerically controlled (CNC) and manual machines.
• Reading process sheets, blueprints, and sketches to determine machining requirements.
• Locating and downloading programs from a DNC storage system.
• Identifying, selecting, and installing the proper tooling for operations.
• Calculating feeds and speeds for various materials including steel, copper, and aluminum.
• Performing quality inspections and adhering to applicable quality systems.
• Engaging in Continuous Improvement activities to enhance productivity.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and machining disciplines.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a lean-manufacturing environment.
• Experience with machine control systems such as Fanuc, Mazak, and Haas.
• Proficiency in using precision inspection equipment like micrometers and calipers.
• A strong focus on safety and quality.
• The ability to inspire and motivate your team while managing multiple priorities.
