Join Our Team as a Residential Home Team Leader!
Contract: Permanent, Full Time
Hours: 40 hours per week
Location: Heysham, Morecambe
Salary: Starting at £27,803.20, with potential earnings up to £34,523.20 including sleep-in shifts.
Are you a dynamic and inspirational leader? We are seeking a Residential Home Team Leader to join our dedicated Children's Home Team at Bayview. Located in the heart of Capernwray, Carnforth, you will work in a nurturing environment that accommodates a maximum of four young people.
Your Role:In this pivotal position, you will:
- Guide young people aged 8-18 with social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties towards success.
- Provide a safe, secure, and positive environment that fosters growth and improvement in their lives.
- Assist the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager in the daily operations of the home, ensuring our 'Outstanding' or 'Good' Ofsted ratings are maintained.
- Step in for the Registered Manager when needed, ensuring continuity of care and leadership.
To thrive in this role, you must:
- Hold a full UK driving license.
- Possess a Diploma Level 3 in Working with Children & Young People.

- Lead staff meetings to encourage open dialogue and collaborative problem-solving.
- Proactively seek improvements for the home and contribute to the annual development plan.
- Manage staff fairly and consistently, ensuring a positive work environment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and address any issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and maintain high hygiene standards.
