Purpose of role:
To ensure correct investigation, attribution, reporting and final root cause of train running delay information to support performance improvement commitments outlined by the industry.
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensure all incidents are correctly investigated, described and coded
- Adhere to contractual timescales
- Identifying patterns and trends and sharing these with the wider functions
- Adhere to the Delay Attribution Principle and Rules
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Knowledge:
- Appreciation of performance improvement
- Knowledge of railway and infrastructure operations
- Excellent understanding of Delay Attribution Principles and Rules
- Good understanding of Customer Services and Operations .
Skills:
- Oral and written communication
- Time management
- Good investigation and analytical skills with an eye for detail
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Teamwork and collaboration
- Ability to handle difficult conversations.
Experience:
- Experience in data entry, data interpretation and report production
- Excellent investigation skills.
