Job Summary:
Join our team in sunny San Diego, California as a Material Handler! In this role, you will be responsible for the movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse. You'll ensure that products are moved safely and efficiently to support our logistics operations. This is an active, hands-on position that requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods.
  • Load and unload trucks and containers.
  • Organize and stack materials in designated warehouse areas.
  • Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
  • Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
  • Identify and report any damaged materials or safety hazards to supervisors.
  • Follow all established logistics procedures for material handling.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a material handler, forklift operator, or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
  • Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
  • Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
