Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to move goods.
- Load and unload trucks and containers.
- Organize and stack materials in designated warehouse areas.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Perform routine checks on material handling equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use required PPE.
- Identify and report any damaged materials or safety hazards to supervisors.
- Follow all established logistics procedures for material handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a material handler, forklift operator, or in a similar warehouse role.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including frequent lifting, bending, and standing.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and best practices.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team-oriented attitude and good communication skills.
