A rapidly expanding SME is seeking an ambitious Financial Controller to join the business at an exciting stage of growth. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a key leadership role with significant exposure to strategic decision-making & operational improvement.

The Role
This is a hands-on position suited to a commercially minded & autonomous finance professional. You will play a central role in driving growth while strengthening financial controls, reporting, & systems across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Preparation & presentation of monthly management accounts (group and three entities)
- Monthly bank reporting & bi-monthly board packs, including board presentations & minutes
- Development of the annual business plan
- Detailed financial analysis vs budget (revenue, margin, costs) to support decision-making
- Cashflow management & forecasting, with focus on improving working capital
- Oversight of all tax matters & management of the statutory audit process
- Management of AP, AR & stock control processes

- ACA/ACCA qualified with 5–10 years’ PQE
- Proven experience leading a finance function with strong communcation skills
- Experienced Sage 200 user
- Strong analytical ability with excellent attention to detail
- Commercially minded with a solid understanding of broader business drivers
