Project Specialist
Location: Cambridge, MA (Hybrid)
Pay Rate: $43.25 - $50.75 per hour
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Project Specialist to support cross-functional project teams within a fast-paced, innovative environment. This role focuses on project coordination, resource planning, and financial tracking to help ensure projects are delivered efficiently and aligned with business objectives.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data, and enjoys collaborating with stakeholders across multiple teams and geographies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support project planning, coordination, and execution across multiple initiatives
- Assist with resource allocation forecasting, internal FTE planning, and tracking external spend
- Monitor project data, budgets, and timelines; identify risks and variances
- Prepare and maintain reports, dashboards, and project documentation
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and drive progress
- Support continuous improvement of project and resource management processes
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in project coordination, resource management, financial analysis, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience working with data and reports
- Ability to coordinate across teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
- Background in pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences environments
- Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, or financial planning
- Hybrid work arrangement (on-site and remote flexibility)
- Collaboration with both local and global team members
- No travel required
This position offers an hourly pay range of $43.25 - $50.75 , based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
