We are actively recruiting Fulfillment Associates to join our state-of-the-art logistics facility in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is central to our order processing and distribution system, involving picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment. As a Fulfillment Associate, you will ensure that our customers receive their orders accurately and efficiently. We are looking for individuals who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong work ethic. A commitment to safety is paramount; all associates must follow rigorous safety protocols and utilize the provided PPE. This position offers a stable work environment and the chance to grow within the dynamic field of logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory based on order details.
- Inspect items for any defects or damage before packing.
- Pack orders with care, ensuring items are protected and arranged efficiently.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, as needed.
- Participate in inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily fulfillment goals.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, quality, and logistics.
- Wear all required PPE, including safety vests and gloves, as instructed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment is a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to adhere to strict safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
