  • Position Summary
    Radiant Global Logistics, Inc is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Air Export Agent to join our International Operations team in Woodbury, NY. This position plays a critical role in managing and coordinating export air freight shipments while delivering top-tier customer service. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of freight forwarding experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
    Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Air Export accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely shipment handling.
  • Coordinate all aspects of air export shipments from booking through final delivery.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers, vendors, and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecycle.
  • Utilize CargoWise, SAP TM, and company tools to track shipments, update status, and manage documentation.
  • Prepare and audit shipping documents to ensure compliance with export regulations and company policies.
  • Arrange pickups and deliveries in coordination with warehouse staff and transportation partners.
  • Process House Air Waybills (HAWBs), Master Air Waybills (MAWBs), and generate accurate invoices.
  • Provide competitive rate quotes upon request and validate credit before processing shipments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, escalating when necessary to maintain service excellence.
  • Support team members and contribute to branch-wide projects as needed.

  • Qualifications
    Experience & Industry Knowledge
  • Minimum 2 years of freight forwarding experience, with a focus on air export operations.
  • Domestic and international shipping knowledge strongly preferred.
  • General understanding of airline operations and logistics processes.
  • Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred (not required).
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams).
  • Experience with logistics software such as CargoWise and SAP TM is a plus.
  • Organizational & Analytical Skills
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Skilled in identifying issues and implementing practical solutions.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills
  • Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Work Ethic & Initiative
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Willingness to follow standard procedures and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
  • Work Schedule
  • Monday - Friday: 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM EST (8-hour workday with required meal and rest breaks).
  • Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform required duties.
  • Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
  • Work Environment & Physical Demands
  • Usually moderate office noise level with climate-controlled environment.
  • Regular physical demands: Walk; sit; use hands to handle or feel; use fingers for keyboarding; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear.
  • Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus.
