About the Role
Focal Point is looking for a highly motivated Franchise Development Coordinator to join our Coach Recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to gain hands-on experience in franchise development and grow with a dynamic, collaborative organization over the long term.
In this role, you will support a team of 7 recruiters, coordinate key recruitment and sales activities, and help ensure compliance and efficiency across the franchise pipeline. You will also manage one administrative assistant.
Position Details
Location: Burnaby, BC – Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote; you choose which days)
Hours: Full-Time, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (30-minute unpaid break)
Reports To: Scott Hartsfield, Chief Development Officer
Target Start Date: March 9, 2026 (subject to change)
Salary: $50,000 – $55,000 CDN

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Pipeline Support
- Manage broker leads and ensure timely follow-up via phone and text.
- Schedule discovery calls, interviews, and follow-up meetings.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for franchise candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Deliver a professional, organized, and positive candidate experience.
- Respond promptly to candidate inquiries.
Franchise Portals & Consultant Relations
- Manage franchise portals and consultant relationships.
- Lead consultant outreach and marketing initiatives.
- Coordinate internal handoffs between the sales, legal, and onboarding teams.
Compliance & Documentation
- Ensure compliance with franchise sales documentation and timelines.
- Track acknowledgment receipts and compliance deadlines.
- Coordinate franchise agreement execution and onboarding handoffs.
- Ensure all required documents are completed prior to setting up a new franchisee.
Reporting, Tracking & Operations
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM.
- Track prospect status, notes, documents, and key milestones.
- Prepare reports on pipeline activity, conversion rates, and sales progress.
- Monitor and track KPIs and dashboards for the recruitment team.
- Create Statements of Work (SOW) and Statements of Process (SOP) for sales and recruitment initiatives, and coordinate with the DevOps team on updates and timelines.
Events & Travel Coordination
- Coordinate flight and hotel accommodations for the recruitment team.
- Register the team for broker conferences and other company events.
- Coordinate Discovery Day logistics, including agendas, invitations, and materials.
Content & Collateral
- Help create and update templates and sales collateral.
Requirements
Must Have
- 2–3 years of experience in an administrative role.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail), HubSpot, , Calendly (or equivalent), LinkedIn, Zoom, and Apple OS.
- Ability to commute to our Burnaby, BC office. We do not offer housing accommodations.
- A valid Canadian work authorization (Canadian resident or valid work permit/VISA).
