Protect America's Interests and Safeguard the Nation as a
Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Officer!
- Conduct inspections of individuals, goods, and conveyances to ensure compliance with customs laws.
- Ensure the security of U.S. borders by detecting and preventing contraband smuggling attempts. / p >< h4 > Roles / Responsibilities : - Inspect travelers' documents at border checkpoints - Conduct surveillance on target locations , cargo shipping activities & reviews sophisticated electronic equipment for smuggled items . Make arrest ' s when required in conjunction w/ law enforcement task force member agencies to prevent illicit activity across US international boarders , audit travelers info before approving passage into States & search packages ; probe thoroughly to uncover weapons or harmful materials from intercepted freight shipments ./ p > < br />
