  Build Reliability That Lasts

We're looking for a Maintenance Manager who's motivated to strengthen systems, elevate reliability, and drive continuous improvement. At our Winnipeg dairy facility—operated in partnership with Vitalus—you'll lead a skilled team, foster a culture of ownership, and make sure our equipment and operations run at their best. This is your chance to build sustainable practices and create a legacy of safe, efficient, and reliable production.

IS THIS YOU?

  • Experienced in asset care and preventive maintenance, with a mindset that looks beyond "break-fix" toward proactive, reliability-centered systems.

  • A problem-solver and connector who bridges operations and maintenance, turning challenges into opportunities for improvement.

  • A leader who's ready to inspire, develop, and empower a team, while advancing performance in a facility that values safety, quality, and sustainability.

If that sounds like you, we'd love to talk.

WHAT YOU'LL DO?

  • Drive Reliability and Continuous Improvement
    1. Develop and enhance a proactive, predictive maintenance strategy for automated equipment and production lines.

    2. Improve uptime and process reliability through data-driven approaches, CMMS optimization, and root cause analysis.

    3. Collaborate across all our teams to align maintenance priorities with plant performance goals.

  • Lead, Develop & Empower Your Team
    1. Coach and mentor a skilled maintenance team, fostering accountability, ownership, and teamwork.

    2. Build a culture that encourages problem-solving and innovation on the shop floor.

  • Keep Safety & Compliance Front and Center
    1. Ensure full compliance with HACCP, FSSC, CFIA, and GMP standards.

    2. Lead risk assessments, establish safe work procedures, and champion a safety-first culture.

    3. Maintain audit-ready records and drive best practices in environmental stewardship, including wastewater management and chemical control.

  • Drive Operational Uptime & Continuous Improvement
    1. Improve planning and execution through smart inventory management and efficient use of resources.

    2. Support capital and improvement projects, from equipment upgrades to system enhancements, with a focus on reliability and long-term value.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 5–10 years in food manufacturing, with 3+ years in a maintenance or operations leadership role
  • BA or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering (Red Seal Millwright or Electrician is a strong asset)
  • Strong understanding of HACCP, FSSC, GMPs, and CFIA compliance
  • Experience with CMMS, ERP, and tools for maintenance and production planning
  • A leadership mindset focused on continuous improvement, team development, and safety excellence

READY TO MAKE YOUR MARK?

This is your opportunity to step into a leadership role where reliability, process improvement, and teamwork are the keys to success. If you're ready to bring your expertise and initiative to a high-performing dairy facility in Winnipeg, we'd love to hear from you.
