Customs Officer - Border Protection Job

About This Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Customs Officer to join our team. As a Customs Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing customs, immigration, and agriculture laws and regulations.

  • Enforce customs laws by conducting inspections of individuals and conveyances;
  • Determine the admissibility of individuals for entry into the United States;
  • Prevent the illegal entry of individuals and prohibited goods and the smuggling of illegal drugs and other contraband;
Candidates must have had primary U.S. residency (includes protectorates as declared under international law) for at least three (3) of the last five (5) years.
A minimum of three (3) years full-time general work experience or equivalent education is required.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent analytical skills,
a high level of integrity, flexibility in working environment conditions
maintaining proper boundaries when dealing with sensitive information;
demonstrate initiative responsibility compliance policies procedures.,
