Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and store goods properly.
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move inventory (certification may be required or provided).
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently based on customer requirements.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting to maintain accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety protocols.
- Identify and report damaged goods or any operational issues to management.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and process orders.
- Follow all company guidelines for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts within the warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or in a similar role is preferred.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to perform lifting tasks up to 60 lbs regularly.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and lift throughout the shift.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all safety guidelines.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software is a plus.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Must be willing to wear required PPE, such as steel-toed boots and safety vests.
