We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator for our busy warehouse in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This critical role involves the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, stack, and stage materials and products. As a key member of our logistics team, you will ensure the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility, contributing to overall operational efficiency and Safety. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, or reach) to move, load, unload, and stack materials.
- Perform daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance on forklifts.
- Safely transport goods between different areas of the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety regulations, company policies, and operating procedures.
- Ensure correct use of required PPE at all times.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff and management to meet logistics targets.
- Minimize product damage through careful operation and handling.
- Occasional tasks may require light Lifting, up to 25 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and best practices.
- Ability to perform physical tasks as required, including operating machinery.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED.
