Our client is an organization in the Dakota County area that's looking for an
Inventory Analyst.
Our client is looking for someone with 4+ years of experience, detail-oriented, and who is highly adaptable. This company offers career growth & development opportunities, varied responsibilities, and competitive benefits. This position is onsite.
The salary for this position is $70k - $90k.
The
Inventory Analyst
will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own the inventory lifecycle end-to-end, from demand planning and purchasing through receipt, allocation, and replenishment
- Monitor, manage, and evaluate inventory levels to balance product availability, cash flow, and turnover while anticipating future ordering needs
- Place and manage purchase orders with both domestic and international suppliers, ensuring accuracy, pricing compliance, and timely fulfillment
- Coordinate inbound shipments and delivery timelines with suppliers, freight partners, and internal stakeholders to meet business requirements
- Partner closely with the sales team to provide regular inventory updates, support customer commitments, and align inventory strategy with sales forecasts
- Proactively analyze market trends, sales data, and demand signals to inform buying decisions and optimize assortment planning
- Support ad hoc financial analysis and special projects as assigned by management to drive strategic objectives and initiatives
The
Inventory Analyst
will possess the following:
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field
- 4+ years of related experience
- Expert level Excel skills and ability to quickly learn ERP and related reporting tools
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Adaptable and solution-oriented
