Manchester Veterinary Clinic is hiring for a part-time Veterinary Customer Service Representative to join our amazing team

Our Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate would act as a role model in demonstrating our values. They would collaborate with the practice manager, medical director, associate veterinarians, and/or other supervisors to foster teamwork and facilitate a productive, professional working environment. This is a part-time position.

Role Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival, creating a welcoming and professional first impression.
  • Answer multi-line phone system
  • Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Process payments, prepare invoices, and handle financial transactions accurately
  • Ensure the lobby is clean and organized
  • Educate clients on wellness plans, preventative care, and post-visit instructions to promote long-term pet health
  • Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in every client interaction, reinforcing trust and the human-animal bond

Experience & Skills Requirements

  • Previous experience in a veterinary. Medical, or customer service setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfort using computers and veterinary software
  • Compassionate and professional demeanor with clients and pets
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure
  • High school diploma or equivalent, AAS or higher preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, squatting, reach, standing, and walking throughout the day.
  • Must be comfortable working in an environment with animals of all sizes, including exposure to noise, odors, and pet dander

Compensation negotiable based on credentials and experience with a rate ranging from $17-$19/hr. The actual rate offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
