Job Summary:
We are hiring a dedicated Distribution Center Associate for our state-of-the-art facility in Sacramento, California. This critical role supports the entire logistics pipeline, from receiving goods to dispatching orders. You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including operating forklifts, managing inventory, and ensuring the efficient flow of products. We seek individuals who are safety-conscious, highly organized, and possess a strong work ethic. Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks to move, stack, and stage materials.
  • Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for shipment with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with all regulations.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory use of PPE.
  • Assist in loading and unloading trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and conveyors.
  • Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics operation.
  • Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience operating forklifts and other powered material handling equipment.
  • Valid forklift certification is required.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting, up to 50 lbs, on a regular basis.
  • Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment.
  • Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong work ethic.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
