Job Description:

This position works under the direct supervision of Journeyman or Lead Installers while learning proper HVAC installation techniques, safety standards, and customer-service best practices. The ideal candidate is dependable, eager to learn, and comfortable working in residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with residential add-on and replacement HVAC installations
  • Support removal and replacement of existing HVAC equipment and components
  • Assist with installing furnaces, air handlers, condensers, ductwork, refrigerant lines, and condensate drains
  • Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment
  • Follow work orders, installation standards, and supervisor direction
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in occupied homes
  • Comply with all company safety policies and OSHA standards
  • Learn to identify basic system issues and assist with troubleshooting
  • Accurately complete assigned job documentation
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners when directed

Qualifications:

  • Entry-level or prior HVAC installation experience preferred but not required
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely (training provided)
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently under supervision and as part of a team
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in attics, crawl spaces, and on ladders
  • Comfort working in occupied residential environments
  • OSHA 10 certification (preferred or willingness to obtain)
