Join our dynamic team in San Antonio, Texas, as an Order Picker! We are looking for detail-oriented individuals who excel in a fast-paced warehouse environment. As an Order Picker, your primary function will be to accurately retrieve products from our inventory shelves to fulfill customer orders. This role is critical to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities:
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory accurately.
- Utilize handheld scanners and pick sheets to guide picking activities.
- Verify product information and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging areas.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts.
- Report any discrepancies or damages to a supervisor.
- Follow all instructions to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
- Must be able to handle regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong sense of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Commitment to upholding Safety standards and wearing required PPE.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy logistics environment.
- Good time management and organizational skills.
