Job Summary:
We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Distribution Center Associates in Austin, Texas. This role is fundamental to the efficient operation of our warehouse, involving a variety of tasks from receiving and stocking to picking and shipping. You will contribute to a fast-paced logistics environment where accuracy and speed are paramount. Responsibilities:
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
  • Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently using various tools and equipment.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and packaging.
  • Operate material handling equipment, such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers, safely and according to training.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all established safety procedures.
  • Participate in inventory management activities, including cycle counts and reconciliation.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Demonstrate proper Lifting techniques and follow guidelines for safe material handling.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals within our logistics framework.
  • Identify and report any safety hazards or operational inefficiencies.
  • Contribute to a positive and productive team atmosphere.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a distribution center, warehouse, or similar environment is preferred.
  • Ability to operate basic warehouse equipment.
  • Proficiency with scanning technology is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts as needed.
  • Understanding of general logistics operations.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, including adherence to PPE requirements and safe Lifting practices.
