  • 1st shift - 6 a.m. - 2 p.m. 
  • 2nd shift - 2 p.m. - 10 p.m.

The Flight
Line/Customer Service Representative plays a critical role for Business Jet
Center in providing effective customer service for clients both at the front
desk and on the ramp. FLA/Customer Services Reps work to uphold Business Jet's
high standards of serviceability in all aspects.


This position is cross-trained between ramp, operator, and front desk customer service.

Essential
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet
    and greet customers as the first point of contact both on the ramp and at the
    front desk.
  • Provide
    full-service concierge services including but not limited to:
    • Taking service orders
      from crew/passengers such as fueling, catering, etc.
    • Supply departing
      aircraft with coffee, ice, requested newspaper, and catering.
    • Fill out contract
      forms, determine charges for service requested, collect payments, and prepare
      change of address records.
    • Coordinate
      transportation, catering, and lodging reservations.
    • Complete request and
      other customer contract forms.
  • Escort
    and assist in all transportation needs (i.e. pick up/drop off passengers).
  • Accurately invoice aircraft fueling and
    handling services.
  • Complete
    opening and closing duties as assigned by the CSR/FLA Management.
  • Update
    arrival/departure board. Communicate customer needs to appropriate departments.
  • Communicate
    clearly and assist the shift coordinator with aircraft call ins, parking, and
    other ramp services.
  • Monitor
    incoming/outgoing flights and movement on the ramp.
  • Conduct
    fuel order dispatching with guidance by the shift coordinator
  • Work with Line Service Technicians to
    coordinate and complete customer requests.
  • Present
    and maintain a clean and professional lobby area with stocked refreshments for
    customers.
  • Maintain
    and record appropriate supply levels.
  • Professionally correspond with
    customers and vendors to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a professional and positive
    attitude with the ability to multitask.
  • Perform
    other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualification Requirements:

  • High
    school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • No
    special licenses or certificates required
  • 1-2
    years of applicable customer service work experience
    • Previous aviation or FBO experience preferred.
  • Excellent
    written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent
    analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong
    problem-solving skills
  • Ability
    to maintain accurate and detailed records
  • Ability to multitask and provide high
    standard of customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness
    to listen and learn
  • Ability
    to think creatively and innovatively
  • Ability to differentiate aircraft types
    as well as understand military time and phonetic alphabet
  • Proficient
    computer skills and customer service software
  • Self-starter with a willingness to learn
    and develop and take feedback well
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Ability
    to attain Love Field Badge

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to various weather conditions. The employee is frequently exposed to very loud noise levels in and around their work environment. The physical demands regularly required are to sit for extended periods of time, squat, crawl, climb along with the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Daily interaction with Clients where tact and decorum are mandatory while maintaining a team effort in customer service.
