Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Prepares and coordinates financial reports and analyses for upper management.
- Assists the Finance team with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Manages all aspects of the general ledger and ensures timely reconciliation of accounts.
- Ensures all accounting practices comply with legal requirements and established accounting principles.
- Assists with billing processes and the preparation of tax documentation.
- Collaborates with the finance team to develop and maintain internal controls in compliance with GAAP.
- Serves as a liaison with external auditors and supports audit preparation and documentation.
- Identifies and resolves discrepancies in financial records.
- Provides support to the Controller, and CFO with additional duties as assigned.

- Expert knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong understanding of governmental guidelines and applicable tax laws.
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
- Skilled in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Proficient in standard office and accounting software programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Minimum of three years of experience in corporate accounting or a similar financial role.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required.
- Certified Management Accountant (CMA) or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification preferred.
- Strong technical proficiency, including advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Oracle).
APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.
