Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our state-of-the-art facility in Nashville, Tennessee. This position is vital for maintaining the operational integrity of our warehouse equipment and systems, ensuring a smooth and efficient logistics flow. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on various machinery, including conveyor systems, forklifts, and automated storage solutions. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and conveyor systems.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Install, adjust, and calibrate equipment to meet operational standards.
  • Conduct safety inspections of all equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities.
  • Operate various warehouse tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with the setup and modification of warehouse layouts for optimal logistics.
  • Ensure that all lifting equipment is regularly inspected and certified.
  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement in warehouse operations and safety.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in mechanics or electronics preferred.
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with warehouse automation and robotics is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and respond to urgent repair needs.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and the use of PPE.
  • Experience with lifting devices and their maintenance is required.
