Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Breakfast Attendant, working full-time from Monday through Friday to deliver exceptional morning service in a lively hospitality environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere while preparing and serving delicious breakfast offerings. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements or host/host duties to ensure smooth flow of breakfast service
- Prepare and serve a variety of breakfast items, including hot dishes, pastries, beverages, and specialty coffees, adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, kitchen stations, and service areas through regular cleaning and bussing duties
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Restock supplies, condiments, and utensils as needed to ensure seamless service throughout the shift
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing meats, preparing ingredients, or assembling breakfast plates under culinary standards
- Support catering or banquet setups when required and assist delivery drivers with food pickups or drop-offs
Skills
- Proven experience in food service roles such as restaurant server, host/host, or catering assistant with knowledge of meal preparation and food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient cashiering and order management
- Strong customer service skills with excellent communication abilities and phone etiquette to engage guests positively
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in food safety and cleanliness standards
- Experience with coffee making, barista duties, or culinary skills including knife handling and meat cutting is a plus
- Knowledge of dietary accommodations and guest relations to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ability to multitask effectively—bussing tables, cleaning stations, assisting in food prep—all while delivering friendly guest interactions
