The Warehouse Manager at WOODCONCEPT is responsible for leading all warehouse operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and smooth daily execution across inventory control, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving. This role oversees a team of warehouse associates and assemblers, develops operational strategies, enforces safety and quality standards, and drives continuous improvement. The Warehouse Manager will also work closely with cross-functional teams to support broader company goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership
- Oversee all warehouse activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping, and receiving.
- Develop and execute operational strategies that improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity.
- Create, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor daily workflows to ensure smooth operations and timely order processing.
- Team Management
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates and assemblers.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
- Identify training needs and develop staff capabilities.
- Inventory & Process Control
- Manage stock levels, perform routine cycle counts/audits, and ensure accurate inventory records.
- Implement strong control measures to reduce discrepancies and prevent loss.
- Collaborate with procurement and production to maintain proper inventory levels and support timely fulfillment.
- Shipping, Receiving & Logistics
- Manage customer pick-ups by greeting customers, coordinating their orders, answering questions, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience that supports strong customer relationships.
- Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring accurate documentation and on-time shipments.
- Coordinate with carriers and logistics partners to resolve issues and streamline processes.
- Ensure all materials are received, inspected, and processed correctly.
- Safety & Continuous Improvement
- Enforce safety standards, policies, and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
- Track and analyze KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
- Stay informed about industry trends and warehouse management best practices.
Requirements
- Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, logistics, and inventory control.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience tracking KPIs and improving processes.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and order pickers; valid certifications preferred.
- Familiarity with cabinet or building materials industry operations, terminology, and handling requirements.

- Strong leadership and team-management abilities with a track record of motivating diverse teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-department collaboration.
- Highly organized with excellent time-management skills.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
