This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our inventory, ensuring that our stock levels are precise and our warehouse operations are efficient. You will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits, investigating discrepancies, implementing corrective actions, and maintaining accurate inventory records. A strong understanding of warehouse logistics and a commitment to Safety are essential. This is an ideal opportunity for individuals looking to grow in inventory management.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, identifying root causes.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures.
- Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO/LIFO) to ensure product freshness and minimize obsolescence.
- Track and report on inventory levels, accuracy rates, and adjustments.
- Work closely with warehouse operations to ensure proper putaway and picking processes.
- Monitor warehouse organization and cleanliness to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and proper use of PPE.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements within logistics.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in inventory control, warehousing, or a related logistics role.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including moderate Lifting up to 40 lbs, as needed.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- A proactive approach to Safety and process improvement.
