We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role is pivotal to our **Logistics** operations, ensuring the efficient and safe movement of goods throughout our facility. You will operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other powered industrial equipment to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. A strong commitment to **Safety** is non-negotiable, and you will be responsible for conducting daily equipment inspections and adhering to all operational guidelines. This position requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to handle significant **Lifting** and movement of materials via forklift. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other powered industrial trucks safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials to and from production and storage areas.
- Stack and stage merchandise in designated locations.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any issues.
- Adhere to all **Safety** regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as needed.
- Wear required **PPE**, including but not limited to hard hats and safety vests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to perform **Lifting** and moving of heavy items via forklift.
- Strong understanding of **Safety** procedures and protocols for warehouse operations.
- Knowledge of proper **PPE** for forklift operation.
