Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Coordinator to oversee and manage daily warehouse operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role requires strong leadership skills, a thorough understanding of warehouse logistics, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. You will be responsible for coordinating staff, managing inventory, ensuring timely order fulfillment, and optimizing workflow to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct warehouse staff, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and safely.
  • Manage inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and oversee stock rotation.
  • Coordinate the receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Ensure all operations comply with safety regulations and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and reduce costs in logistics.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts, when necessary and appropriate.
  • Train new employees on warehouse procedures and safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and operational data.
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
  • Address any operational issues or discrepancies promptly and effectively.
  • Be prepared for occasional heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in warehouse management or coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanning technology.
  • Demonstrated ability to ensure workplace safety and enforce PPE usage.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely is a plus.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certifications are beneficial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks when needed.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours if required by operational needs.
