Join our dynamic team as a Distribution Center Associate in Milwaukee, Wisconsin! We are seeking motivated and reliable individuals to contribute to the efficient operation of our state-of-the-art distribution facility. This role is crucial to ensuring our products reach our customers quickly and accurately. You will be involved in various aspects of warehouse operations, from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will directly impact our success.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and place received items into appropriate storage locations.
- Pick and pack orders according to customer specifications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Operate material handling equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided if needed).
- Conduct inventory checks and participate in cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Assist with shipping and loading operations as needed.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including those related to Safety and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to a positive team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience is a plus.
- Ability to perform tasks involving frequent bending, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs independently.
- Familiarity with Logistics and inventory management principles.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
