Job Summary:
Our busy distribution center in Los Angeles, California is looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our logistics team. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials, loading and unloading trucks, and assisting with warehouse organization. This is a critical role that requires precision, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
  • Inspect forklifts daily and perform routine maintenance checks, reporting any issues immediately.
  • Receive, identify, and accurately store incoming materials.
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment with precision and care.
  • Assist with inventory counts and maintain accurate records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all logistics and safety protocols.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and proper usage of PPE.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring goods are properly secured.
  • Perform tasks that involve occasional Lifting and physical movement.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency and workflow.

Qualifications:
  • Valid forklift operator certification and proven experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics setting.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
  • Familiarity with safety standards, including the critical importance of PPE.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
