Responsibilities
Providing consultancy to development teams across on‑premise and cloud environments on technical security and compliance, network architectural mentorship and proof of concepts using Azure PaaS and other services.
Leading and validating the design and development of secure standards to support application and infrastructure components, both internal and external facing, with a strong focus on auditable compliance.
Ensuring solutions are developed in line with strategic target architecture from an application design and infrastructure/platform perspective.
Partnering with solution architects and global product management to define standardised solution and services baselines to meet strict security targets and converging platform principles.
Demonstrating innovations through prototyping and proof of concept work.
Building strong relationships with key stakeholders such as the Enterprise Information Architect, Solution and Enterprise Architects and delivery teams.
Qualifications
Strong experience of implementing networking solutions in an infrastructure as code driven automated environment.
Passion for developing best practices and good understanding of Azure best practice design principles.
Expertise with hybrid network models and enterprise integration patterns.
Experience of coding for infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS and SaaS.
Up‑to‑date knowledge of current and emerging technologies and trends in the Azure space.
Ability to mentor juniors and peers.
Good stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Certified AZ‑700 Azure Network Engineer Associate.
Eligibility and authorisation to work in the United Kingdom.
