HR Coordinator-Job Description

Job Summary:
The HR Coordinator will provide essential support to the Human Resources Director, assisting in a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle confidential information with discretion while contributing to a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support recruitment efforts by posting job openings, reviewing applications, coordinating interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Facilitate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation sessions, document completion, and exit interviews.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
  • Assist with payroll processing, benefits administration, and timekeeping as needed.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Coordinate employee training and development programs.
  • Support performance management processes, including tracking evaluations and performance improvement plans.
  • Assist with HR reporting, audits, and other administrative tasks.
  • Help foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be substituted1–3 years of experience in HR or administrative support preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
