Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle various tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel or resort settings is preferred.
Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Check guests in and out of the hotel, ensuring all information is accurate.
- Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
- Manage phone calls with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist with night audit procedures as required.
- Maintain guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and effectively.
- Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Uphold the hotel's standards for cleanliness and organization at the front desk area.
Requirements
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest relations.
- Proficient in using computer systems for reservations and check-in/check-out processes.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to providing excellent hospitality.
