We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our thriving operation in Portland, Oregon. This role is central to our ability to meet customer demand, ensuring that orders are picked with precision and packed for secure transit. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from our warehouse stock and carefully packaging them for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, energetic, and capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced warehouse setting. You will work collaboratively with a dedicated team to achieve daily productivity goals and uphold our commitment to quality. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on all packed orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
