We are looking for a diligent Picker/Packer to join our thriving operation in Portland, Oregon. You will be responsible for locating and retrieving items from our warehouse stock and carefully packaging them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders using handheld scanners and pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage or defects.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Conduct quality control checks on all packed orders.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and replenishment.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment like pallet jacks.
- Comply with all safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
