We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills
- Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Train new staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the food industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service standards
- Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
- Previous experience in hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for culinary arts
