Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food preparation and cooking, with a strong background in restaurant management and team leadership. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious dishes, ensuring food safety standards are met, and managing kitchen operations to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to menu specifications
  • Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills
  • Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling practices
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
  • Train new staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and restaurant policies

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a Chef role or similar position within the food industry
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food service standards
  • Supervising experience with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
  • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and development
  • Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations
  • Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling
  • Previous experience in hospitality is preferred, along with a passion for culinary arts

Pay: $17.20-$31.19 per hour
