Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership qualities and a diverse skill set, enabling them to manage administrative tasks effectively while fostering a positive workplace culture. This role requires a blend of clerical expertise, team management, and operational oversight.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
- Manage schedules, appointments, and calendars for team members.
- Coordinate event planning and logistics for company meetings and functions.
- Supervise administrative staff, providing guidance and support in their roles.
- Handle vendor management, including negotiations and relationship building.
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Assist with human resources functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and training & development initiatives.
- Develop budgets and monitor expenses to ensure financial health of the office.
- Implement filing systems to maintain organized records and documentation.
- Manage front desk operations, including multi-line phone systems and customer interactions.
Skills
- Proven experience in office management or a similar administrative role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with staff, vendors, and clients.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks for financial management tasks.
- Experience with schedule management and calendar coordination.
- Familiarity with medical office management is a plus.
- Ability to train and develop team members to enhance their skills.
- Knowledge of budgeting practices and financial oversight.
