Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist, where you will play a vital role in improving communication skills and enhancing the quality of life for young children. This rewarding position involves providing specialized speech therapy services to pediatric patients, supporting early intervention efforts, and collaborating closely with families, educators, and medical professionals. Duties

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify speech, language, and communication needs in pediatric populations
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each child's unique needs and developmental stage
  • Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions focused on improving articulation, language comprehension, social communication, and swallowing functions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, occupational therapists, educators, and families to coordinate care strategies
  • Support early intervention programs by working with infants and toddlers to promote foundational communication skills
  • Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, therapy sessions, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare standards
  • Educate families on home exercises and strategies to reinforce therapy goals outside of clinical settings

Requirements

  • Valid licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Proven experience working with pediatric populations in clinical or school settings
  • Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques tailored for children with diverse needs
  • Familiarity with pediatric physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and swallowing functions
  • Ability to perform thorough patient assessments using appropriate tools and medical terminology
  • Experience with early intervention programs is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare teams
