Duties

• Assist with food preparation by chopping, slicing, mixing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Support cooking activities by following instructions from chefs or kitchen supervisors to ensure timely meal delivery
• Ensure food safety standards are upheld by handling ingredients properly and adhering to hygiene protocols
• Assist with preparing serving stations and replenishing supplies
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and deliver excellent customer service in a hospitality environment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or hotel kitchens is required
• Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices is required
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and serve customers courteously
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with food preparation and plating
• Experience with creating foods for Afternoon Tea
• A positive attitude coupled with a willingness to learn and grow within the culinary field
• Basic understanding of hospitality principles and customer service expectations

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 30.0 per week
