E-Commerce Channel Manager – Competitive Compensation With Great Opportunities for Growth

The Position:

We are looking for an e-commerce manager with extensive experience in multi-channel marketplaces such as eBay, Walmart, Shein, Shopify, and others. The primary responsibilities include automating, maintaining, and expanding the market place operations for eBay, Walmart, Shein, Target via a channel management platform via Rithum and Shopify.

Summary of Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day marketplace E-commerce operations, customer service, updates, post product listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance through multi-channel e-commerce platforms Rithum, Shopify along with our own custom-built platforms.
  • Create, manage, and optimize a system of pushing and pulling data feeds for inventory and sales from marketplace to our ERP (Microsoft Great Plains) and inventory management systems.
  • Also have understating of WMS system (Manhattan) for inventory management.
  • Lead an initial team of 1-2 junior associates to help carry out all your objectives. This team may grow (or shrink) depending on growth.
  • Work with senior management to set goals and expectations and create reports to measure performance and progress for each ecommerce channel.
  • Place a strategy to list products, manage product pages, imagery, copywriting/web content, ad spend, inventory, and other key areas to acquire higher sell through rates.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to build forecasts, manage inventory effectively, and tackle potential inventory issues.
  • Provide on-going strategic insights and recommendations of new marketplaces channels with growth plans as well as provide feedback and input into existing ecommerce operations.
  • Analyze international marketplace channels for potential opportunities for expansion.
  • Identify and communicate customizations to customize our inhouse business apps which will drive efficiency to your team and other departments across the company.
  • Work with IT development team to suggest customizations to our business apps to drive efficiency in your teams work as well as other departments.
  • Physically walk the warehouse as needed to inspect goods, verify counts, check packaging/labeling quality, and confirm that inventory in the system matches what is on the shelves.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in related field.
  • 3+ years demonstrated experience managing and selling products on Amazon, eBay, , Shopify etc. using multi-channel ecommerce listing platform such as Rithum, Willow Commerce, Cin7 or similar platforms.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and show constant entrepreneurial initiative.
  • Strong project and time management skills.
  • Expert understanding product, pricing, and competition analysis to win sales.
  • Must be able to speak on the phone with marketplace partners to optimize our business, explain complex problems and work towards solutions.
  • Technically adept with strong computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite, (Intermediate level in Excel: V lookups, pivot tables), retail math, Google -Analytics a plus, SQL and WMS experience is a plus.
  • Work within Microsoft Dynamics GP or similar ERP system to review inventory levels, sync orders, pricing, and product data between marketplaces and back-office systems.

Pay: 100k to 120k
