We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of various warehouse equipment, ensuring our **logistics** operations run smoothly and efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repair on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
- Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently according to **safety** guidelines.
- Conduct regular **safety** inspections of machinery and tools.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
- Operate warehouse equipment as needed, adhering to **safety** protocols.
- Use **PPE** diligently during all maintenance and operational tasks.
- Assist with the **lifting** and installation of new equipment.
- Contribute to the overall **logistics** efficiency by minimizing equipment downtime.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and procedures.
- Familiarity with **logistics** equipment and operations.
- Ability to perform **lifting** and physical tasks as required for repairs.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
- Commitment to wearing **PPE**.
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
