Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. In this technical role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of various warehouse equipment, ensuring our **logistics** operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your duties will include troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all equipment adheres to **safety** standards. A strong understanding of warehouse machinery and a commitment to **safety** are paramount. You will be required to use appropriate **PPE** during all maintenance and operational tasks. While your primary focus is technical, you may assist with **lifting** and moving materials during equipment installations or repairs. Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Ensure all equipment operates safely and efficiently according to **safety** guidelines.
  • Conduct regular **safety** inspections of machinery and tools.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities.
  • Operate warehouse equipment as needed, adhering to **safety** protocols.
  • Use **PPE** diligently during all maintenance and operational tasks.
  • Assist with the **lifting** and installation of new equipment.
  • Contribute to the overall **logistics** efficiency by minimizing equipment downtime.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar technical role.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
  • Knowledge of warehouse **safety** standards and procedures.
  • Familiarity with **logistics** equipment and operations.
  • Ability to perform **lifting** and physical tasks as required for repairs.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
  • Commitment to wearing **PPE**.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
