Responsibilities

Estimating:

  • Prepare detailed estimates, take-offs, material lists, and labor projections for commercial, retail, and multi-family projects.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and requirements.
  • Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotes to ensure competitive pricing.
  • Maintain accurate cost databases and historical pricing information.
  • Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with project managers and leadership to finalize bid packages and proposals.

Superintendent / Field Operations:

  • Oversee daily on-site construction activities from mobilization to closeout.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, materials, and schedules to ensure timely and high-quality project completion.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify safety, quality, and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including reports, change orders, and progress updates.
  • Lead and mentor field crews, promoting a positive, safety-focused jobsite culture.
  • Uphold OSHA and company safety standards, including daily toolbox talks and job hazard analysis reviews.
  • Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and meet client expectations throughout all phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field required.
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction estimating and field supervision (commercial/retail/multi-family preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully managing on-site construction operations.
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and cost control principles.
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with project management tools such as Procore, RedTeam, and/or BlueBeam.
  • Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100, $125,000.00 per year
